TECHNOLOGICAL WATER SUPPLY STATIONS
Sewage pumping station
A sewage pumping station (SPS) is a complex of hydrotechnical equipment and structures, which is used to pump household, industrial or storm wastewater when it is impossible to remove it by gravity.
The sewage pumping station is a remote autonomous object, so it works in automatic mode.
The automatic control system provides optimal modes of operation of the technological equipment during peak loads, monitors the prerequisites for the occurrence of emergency situations, and thanks to the use of a special algorithm, extends the service life of the pumps.
In settlements where water supply and drainage management is carried out in the city’s central control room, the KNS with an automatic control system can be connected to the SCADA remote monitoring and control system.
Raffing pumping station
Raffing pumping stations should be installed to increase and stabilize pressure in separate sections of the water supply network (for example, when water is supplied to separate multi – storey buildings or arrays of private homes).
Frequency converters are installed directly on the pumps of the station, which allow you to adjust the pressure at the exit of the pumping unit.
The modern pumping station is able to automatically
maintain water pressure within optimal parameters. In most cases, having an
adjustable drive, you can refuse to use a cumbersome and quite expensive
structure – Rozhnovsky tower.
